We spent two days in Virginia last week (January 19 and 20) looking for a new house, and put an offer in on a new construction, which was accepted today. We close on March 5 and will move around that time. (You can see the pictures above.)

The house is a colonial in Federalist style, with hardwood floors throughout the foyer, study, living room, dining room, kitchen and sunroom. It has the optional sunroom, optional 3-car side-load garage, gas fireplace, granite counters int the kitchen, and most everything we wanted.

It's about a 10 minute drive to the College Advanced Tech center, 20 minutes to David's main office at Locust Grove, and 50 minutes to the Fredericksburg campus and office. We're very excited about the move, but not about all the work and stress. More to come.
